Holidays
Hello! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We had a delicious meal here at our house with Dad and Louise, a couple from their ward, and Sean and his friend, Rob, dropped by later. Dave and Rosa came by in the evening to take Robbie with their other nephews, the Peters' boys, for a sleepover at their place. I think they all had a good time. I haven't had a chance to ask Dave if they got any sleep that night.
Now we are looking forward to all the Christmas festivities. We have Christmas music playing and I am planning what gifts we will be giving along with what yummy holiday food we will be making this year. Coconut bread is a given, of course. Dan, you'll have to stop by and grab a slice! :)

Yeah, when I called the other day, Becca said hello and then handed the phone to Katie. I asked her if people came over for Thanksgiving. She said, "Yeah! Damma Weez! (Grandma Louise)" I asked if anyone else came, but she repeated her Damma Weez. I guess she really enjoyed having Grandma Louise over! If you send me the recipe, I'll attempt the coconut bread for Dan!
You guys are so nice to take care of my husband! Maybe I should get the recipe too and be a good wife. You can just post it here if you want to...unless it's a secret recipe.
Well, whether it's a secret or not depends on who you ask for it. When I first had coconut bread several years ago, I really wanted the recipe, but the lady who made the bread said that when she was given the recipe she had to promise not to share it with other people. How silly is that? Anyway, I worked for a long time to recreate it myself and with some help from Auntie Starr I have come pretty close. Maybe if we get your names for the Christmas draw some year in the future we will pass the yummy food along as our gift to you. ;)
That would be very economical too!
