Dan won Settler's!

We had such a blast last Friday! Dave, Rosa, & Noemi were in town, so we went with them and with Dan, Karen & Jared to Olive Garden for dinner. Since Noemi was "too young" according to Dan, Dan took her crayons and kid's book to color while we waited for the food. Olive Garden-- their alfredo sauce is heavenly! And they gave free refills to Dan on his chocolate milk! And another bonus... our waiter not only brought us boxes for the leftovers, but he took the time to put the food in the boxes! I never see that anymore!

At about 11:30 pm, Dave, Dan & I started a game of Settler's of Catan. Dan won! It came out of nowhere! Dave felt so humbled for like 3 hours after that! (He's probably still thinking about what he could have done to stop it!)

It was fun to see the kids together. Hannah was jealous anytime I was holding Noemi, so I usually had to have them both on my lap. Drew still thinks Noemi has the most amazing "laser-blue" eyes. Jared, as usual, got along with all the kids. He must be one of the most well-behaved toddlers in the world!

All Bundled Up!

So, while babysitting Jared, I took him and Hannah for a walk around the neighborhood to see the Christmas lights. However, We didn't have his coat, so I wrapped him in Uncle Drew's coat, and he was toasty warm the whole time! They had no problem sharing the stroller-- especially since neither one of them could move in their big coats!

Helpful Information!

I'm glad I log on and check this periodically, or else I wouldn't know important information about the fam...like that Amy's eating goldfish...Hannah's kissing on demand (how cute is she!--but keep her away from the boys in nursery!)...or that Sadie's baking coconut bread. And congrats on your big info, Chris!...not on the goldfish dying...I send my regards! But on the new job! That's great news! We're very happy for you! (but not so happy that you opted for NC over CT!)
